- - Purchased May 2025; paint cracked spiderweb by Oct.
- - By Mar 2026 the paint was flaking.
- - 1-year warranty; claim denied as normal wear; $800.
I purchased the Playa 60 rectangular charcoal gray concrete outdoor firepit in May 2025. We used it 3 or 4 times that summer, and by October, the paint on the top had large cracks like a spider web across the whole surface.
We moved the firepit into the garage for the winter. (The manual says this outdoor firepit should not be in direct sunlight or left in the cold, and if it gets wet, it should be dried off immediately. How is this an outdoor firepit?) When I went to get the firepit out in March 2026, the whole top surface paint was flaking off. I checked my warranty, and it said it was covered for 1 year.
I submitted a claim through Living Spaces, and they responded back that this was not a covered item because this was considered normal wear and tear.
So, I paid $800 for a heavy outdoor firepit that is allergic to the sun, and I apparently need to bring it in the house and tuck it into a warm comfy bed every night if I expect it to last a whole year. Stay away from this product and probably anything at Living Spaces, as they do not stand behind their products.
- Living spaces sells cheap products and they do not honor warranty
Preferred solution: Full refund

Deeply disappointed from the bad services and bad products
- - Delivered Feb 5, 2026; sofas not assembled and they move, not connected to bases.
- - Warranty repair refused; 30-day returns promised, refunds denied.
They delivered recliners sofas to us on February 5, 2026, and were not properly assembled, as they left separate from each other and not connected properly to each other on their bases, resulting in moving when we sit on it. When we called them, they refused to come and fixed it even though we bought a warrant from them
Also Some also lack a small lower button support, making them unstable when sitting.
Before buying they said I have 30 days return the sofas but they refuse to cancel the order and refund our money back
User's recommendation: save your money and avoid buying from living Spaces

Verified Reviewer |- - Wrong Revive Bali Queen Mattress delivered; Hybrid Queen was ordered.
- - Twin mattresses were missing on the first delivery.
- - Store says no mattress exchanges.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. They replaced the mattress. To contact Pissed Consumer.
When the delivery arrived at our home, the twin mattresses were not with the delivery, so I advised them to return the delivery since it was not our complete order. (It should have clicked in my head, wrong company.) They redelivered on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Everything seemed to be normal until they placed the queen mattress. I noticed that it was not the mattress I purchased.
I mentioned to the delivery guy that it was not the mattress that I bought, but he didn't understand what I was saying. I called Living Spaces, and they said that is what is on the receipt. He told me that I would have to contact the salesman who wrote up the receipt. I called back, and I was told that someone would call me back in 24 hours.
24 hours came and went, no call from Living Spaces. I looked at the receipt, and the salesman had put in the wrong mattress information. This morning, November 19, 2025, I went into Living Spaces in Humble, Texas, to talk to someone about this issue, and they told me that someone would get back with me. It has been over 8 hours, and no one has contacted me.
Their employee input Revive Bali Queen Mattress instead of Revive Bali Hybrid Queen Mattress. This was NOT my mistake; it's their employee's mistake. I have proof that I ordered the Revive Bali Hybrid Queen Mattress; it's on the written receipt that the employee and his manager signed off on. Ask me how he entered the wrong mattress information.
I don't know, but they are trying to blame me for their employee's mistake. They are telling me that I can't exchange the mattress because they don't take mattresses back, but it's their employee's mistake who input the wrong information. I did not order that mattress. I could understand if I had ordered the mattress, but I went into the Humble, Texas, location, and their employee entered the information into the system.
Living Spaces' employee entered the wrong mattress information. So I'm supposed to pay for Living Spaces' employee's mistake because they don't want to take responsibility for their employee's mistake. I talked to customer service again this evening; he informed me that someone would contact me in 24 hours and that they don't take mattresses back. I could see if it was my mistake, but it's Living Spaces' employee's mistake.
It's like they are blaming me for their employee's mistake or saying just get over it and sleep on the mattress we delivered. What is wrong with people? Had I known from the start that their employee was going to input the wrong mattress information, I would have shopped somewhere else. I put my trust in their employee to do his job correctly, and their employee is the one who is at fault; he is employed at Living Spaces, and they could at least right a wrong mistake.
I would have spent my $3,368.00 somewhere else. Yes, mistakes happen, but the customer should not have to pay for an employee's mistake. It's not right; it's downright wrong on Living Spaces. I have never seen a company that makes so many mistakes, from delivery to entering the correct information, but wants the customer to pay for it.
I will never shop at this store again; it was my first and last time purchasing from this store, as we were getting ready to purchase additional furniture. Run, don't walk, as a matter of fact, go to another store; it's not worth shopping at Living Spaces.
- Really nice furniture
- That i have to pay for the employee mistake
- That i purchased inferior product and the extended warranty
Preferred solution: The correct mattress

- - Bought sofa bed and loveseat; first-time shopper.
- - Tried calling support; no help.
- - Online showed Milbrea stock; store said none; loveseat cushion sags.
I even sent them an email with details but have not heard anything back.
Hi there I just purchased a sofa bed and loveseat from you. This was my fist time ever shopped with you.
I have complains and issues and super unhappy. I tried to reach out through your customer service but did not get anywhere, I need to talk to someone in charge please.
Initially checking on line showed you can see it at the milbrea store but when I went they said sorry we dont have it in store.cushion on love seat after two weeks of sitting on it is lower than the other side. Pillows have zipper but no stuff sack.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy without seeing the sofa and love seat.
Horrible customer support and warranty dept needs ton of training!
- - In-store sales were good, but follow-up and warranty service are poor.
- - The customized couch has uneven cushions; only a 10% discount was offered.
I wish I can give this company a zero star...great at selling in store from the sales associates, however, the follow up process, customer service, and warranty dept are just absolutely garbage. They will give you a run around and then they ghost you.
I've been dealing with living spaces customer service and warranty dept since the 1st week of delivery in Dec. 2025, and it has been a nightmare. I purchased a customized couch set and 2 of the 6 cushions were 2xs softer than the other 4. Since, I've called a gazillion time to have them replaced, and all they can say is...we can give you 10% discount on the couch.
NOOOO...how about honor the quality of your product. It's not about the money...clearly if I can afford to purchase a customize couch, I am not seeking for any cookie cutter couch, I am looking for specificity. I can get random couch at a big box furniture store. Living Spaces need to step up your follow-thru game.
if you talk the talk, you need to walk the walk. Moving forward, I will boycott the company and tell all of my network that this company is absolutely horrible to deal with after purchase...just like a car dealerships.

- - Item showed Millbrae availability; store said not in stock.
- - I ordered it anyway; I called and emailed with pictures; ten days with no response.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund. 15% of the purchase price. If you don’t want to return find alternative and ask for partial refund.
hi there so they just informed me there is no stuff sacks for 8 pillows. and that is it. sorry
So both sofa and loveseat seats are shrinking as we speak and their solution so far was $87 refund. Offcours refused and asked to replace both cushions with frim material and getting stuff sacks in the pillows. no answer yet.
Initially, I saw furniture I liked on IrvingSpace.com. It showed it was available in the Millbrae store.
I went there, and they said, 'Sorry, it is not available in the store,' but I ordered it anyway. Barely sitting on it for less than 2 weeks, the cushions are shrinking. Also, all the pillows have zippers but no stuff sacks, so all the stuff inside is exposed.
I called and sent an email with pictures. Ten days have passed with no response.
- It is a big store
- Bad customer and warranty service
Preferred solution: Replace seats with good quality cushions and put stuff sacks inside the pillow
User's recommendation: Don’t shop there. Good quality is hit and miss also no customer support

Verified ReviewerResolved: Deception & Lack of care
- - Stefani Mendez bought Purple Restore Firm Hybrid king after trying the store floor model.
- - After ~60 days it stays firmer; exchange is sought.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. A Living Spaces associate heard our issue with our bed and took care of us.
While we weren’t able to return the mattress, he did get in touch with someone who confirmed that our particular mattress wouldn’t break in during the trial, so we were able to exchange mattresses.
Our new mattress was delivered within a few days and I think it’ll work out for us. We are thankful.
My husband and I purchased the Purple Restore Firm Hybrid mattress in king size after trying the floor model in-store. We understood the in-store model had been broken in and did not expect our mattress to feel exactly like it right away. We had asked several questions in-store to make a realistic and informed decision, and were told that it would feel like the store model once broken in.
After sleeping on it for nearly 60 days, our mattress still feels significantly firmer than expected, far beyond what would be reasonable, even accounting for the break-in period. At this point, it feels like an entirely different product compared to what we experienced in-store. We have been in a lot of pain because of this mattress.
What's frustrating is that we were never warned about just how different a new version of this mattress would feel, or that the break-in might take much longer or potentially never get close to that softened feel. For such a major purchase, this lack of transparency is really disappointing. The in-store models are there for a reason, aren't they? If they are broken in to where they feel nothing at all like what the customer is purchasing, then the mattress in store should be replaced with a newer one so as not to deceive customers, right?
We'd appreciate it if you could help us explore options to address this—whether that means an exchange, or waiving/reducing fees associated with a solution. We don't feel it's fair that we should have to pay anything given that this isn't a situation where the mattress just didn't work out for us. Rather, we didn't even have the chance to test what we were reasonably led to expect. We made this purchase in good faith, and we just want a fair resolution that reflects what we were led to expect.
Thank you for your time,
Stefani Mendez

Verified ReviewerI purchased a lovely couch but the cushions and springs are not made correctly. I contacted customer service after three months and they said wear and tear. Well it’s only two individuals on this sofa
- - The cushions are not firm and sink to the floor.
- - We paid $2400 and still can't sit on it.
- - They refused to replace the cushions or help.
The two cushions are not firm like the lounger one. You literally sink to the floor.
They refused to help us just to replace our cushions which are not made properly.
The cost was $2400 and we cant sit on it. They refused us to replace items its led then six months

Waited 2.5 months for a table and only part of it was ever delivered and now they’re out of stock and said it’ll be another month for a refund
- - Delivery delayed 2.5 months and arrived incomplete, missing a leg.
- - Missing leg is out of stock and refunds are not issued until it is returned.
I only gave 1 star because I couldnt give a zero. We ordered a massive 500lb patio table made of rock with a large slab and two legs (pillars) back in April.
The delivery was delayed over 2.5 months and we just got it delivered last weekend. To our shock, only 1 of the 2 legs were delivered with the slab. We called and were told the missing leg would be shipped and wed get a tracking number or a call from them in 24 hours. Neither happened.
We called 2 more times until we were finally informed it is out of stock and now we have a huge rock slab and 1 leg taking up out entry way and they refuse to provide refund until they get the slab and 1 leg back, even though they screwed up and we waited 2.5 months for a *** incomplete products. Never get anything from Living Spaces if you actually want what youre looking at online. And they are not helpful or responsive and they stole our money now for about 3 months and dont have someone coming to pick up the partial furniture they left in our entry way for another month. Be aware!
Stay as far away from this company as possible. They, theyre customer service, their refund policy, and furniture is complete trash!

Verified ReviewerResolved: Got no invoice from them
- - Ordered a dining room set on March 9; no invoice received.
- - Chat promised follow-up; no contact was made.
- - No invoice; charged a $51.94 cancellation fee.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They charged me a cancellation fee even after I went on their chat and left a message within 24 hours of the initial charge I never got an email from them with an invoice or anything.
I didn't find anyway to talk with a real human, so I sent a text on their site.
That's when I started reading reviews and found out this was very common. I will NEVER use them again.
The next day, I wrote in their chat bar, gave them the information that was asked for, and it said someone would reach out to me. When I heard nothing, I disputed the charge on our credit card. Today, which is the 19th, I got a call from the trucking company to deliver the set I had canceled. I told the gal on the phone that I had canceled due to receiving no invoice.
A few moments later, Living Spaces phoned me. I explained my position and told them I got no invoice and I had canceled in their chat. I was told they had nothing about it and I needed to pay a cancellation fee of $51.94. They have had no problem finding my email to send me ads, but I didn't get anything from them at all, and they never got back to me from the chat information they took.
Totally a scam in my eyes...
My advice would be buyer beware! I truly will warn everyone I know about them.

Poor Service Rude Employees
- - Twice at Fountainview Houston had a bad experience.
- - Staff chat and won't help, saying they aren't salespeople.
- - They direct you to a Kiosk for info.
I have been twice only came back second time because I thought surely it as one time bad experience. Same experience 2nd time.
All the workers sitting around chit chatting and you ask for help and both times I was told we are not sales people we don't get paid commission if you want info go to Kios and look it up. This is the Fountainview location in Houston.
But from the 1.2 rating I am seeing I assume it is the same everywhere. I hope the designers you say you represent in your commercials are aware of this.

Horrible company and customer service
- - Customers report poor service and difficulty resolving issues.
- - Delivery issues and furniture quality complaints include damage and defects.
Horrible company and customer service is non-existent. Poor quality of products- they expected me to turn over a 10ft table and chairs to make sure there was no hidden damage- after 3 days it customer's responsibility - warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on (they just take your money)- customer service - what customer service - I complaint to BBB (as have other 100's of people)..read the complaints there- Google AI got the company and service spot on! - (from google AI) Living Spaces has received numerous complaints, particularly regarding customer service, delivery issues, and product quality, with some customers reporting furniture falling apart or damage during delivery.
Customer Service Issues:
Many customers have reported poor customer service experiences, including difficulty resolving issues, lack of communication, and rude or unhelpful representatives
A recurring theme is the poor quality of Living Spaces furniture, with reports of furniture falling apart, breaking easily, or having manufacturing defects.
I would never buy from them again - I just bought a living room leather sectional from another company - stayed way from Living Space - what a world of difference

I will never purchase anything from this store. I am disabled and was treated horribly.
I asked some questions, and the manager was very rude, belittling, smacked her lips and rolled her eyes. She acted like we weren't good enough to be in the store. I am also Latina, so I am unsure if she treated us like that because of my heritage or my disability! We've spent over $5,000 and were planning on getting two bedroom sets and a dining room set, but because of the way I/we were treated, they will never get another dime from me.
I have left messages, reviews, and contacted BBB. I left the store in tears because she called me a *** as I was going out the door. She treated all of the Caucasian customers great, she acted like we were stealing, we couldn't afford their junk. No one has responded; clearly, they don't care about the customers or the possibility of a lawsuit.
ADA and discrimination are something they shouldn't be ignoring! Do not go there if you are disabled or are of color!

If it’s causing pain and after two months doesn’t feel like the floor model, shouldn’t your preferred solution be a refund?
There is $200 restocking fee for a one time exchange and that’s it. There is no refund.
I selected price reduction from the dropdown menu because it was the closest resolution listed to what we think would be fair. We will do the exchange, but don’t think we should have to pay a $200 restocking fee since it’s not like we got to truly test out the mattress we were expecting.
