I purchased a sofa and love seat for about $8,000 at the Vista location. I also purchased the VIP Plan.
I noticed a tear in the sofa a couple months later. I called VIP and filed a claim. A tech came out and said he would order the replacement back for the sofa. I didn't hear anything for over a month so i called the store and was informed that the claim had been denied due to excessive wear.
How is a tear excessive wear?
I explained this to the rep and read her my guarantee that said all tears and rips are covered she said sorry, i can't help you and put me on hold for over an hour. I called back and was cut off again.
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
Monetary Loss: $8000.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
