On January 16, 2021 we purchased a bedroom set, a dining room table with 6 chairs, on the 17th we ordered a TV stand and, on the 20th, we ordered office furniture. We spent over $8,000 at the Pflugerville store.
The estimated delivery date was February 23, 2021. On February 22 we received an e-mail from LivingSpaces stating that the bedroom set, dining table, 6 chairs, TV stand and the office furniture would be delivered on February 23. Delivery would occur between 11:00AM and 2:00PM. We were so excited.
On the date of the delivery at 1:00PM we received a phone call from LivingSpaces telling us that because our dining room table and chairs did not arrive at the warehouse nothing was being delivered. WHAT, the day before everything was going to be delivered, now we are told they dont have our dining room set so nothing was to be delivered.
On February 24th we drove to LivingSpaces in Pflugerville, TX about 100-miles round trip for us to find out what happened. Talked to the store manager and she said that the dining room table and chairs were in California. Apparently, the warehouse in California had not been instructed to ship them to Pflugerville warehouse.
She said she gave instructions for the California warehouse to ship the table and chairs to Pflugerville. At that time the manager indicated that the table WAS in the California warehouse. They would call to set up a delivery for the rest of our furniture. The manager said that all our other furniture would be delivered on Friday, Feb.
25th. Everything else was delivered.
On March 10th we checked the status of the dining room table and chairs, we were told the 6 chairs were at the warehouse in Pflugerville but the dining room table did not arrive. Once again, we drove to the store in Pflugerville. The store manager was not available so the customer service did some research and discovered that the dining room table was not in transit or in the California warehouse.
When we ordered our table, we were told that the table and chairs were all at the warehouse in California. They promised to find out when the dining room table would be available. On the 15th of March we had not received any feedback so we called the Customer Service once again. We were told that the dining table was apparently on a large ship waiting to be unloaded in the LA Harbor and that the Teamsters Union was delaying the ships being unloaded.
We were also told they would see if just the dining room table could be unloaded. REALLY!!! How dumb do you think your customers are? They gave us another estimated delivery for the end of March.
When we did not hear from LivingSpaces once again we called the Customer Service hot line and were told the dining table would arrive at the Pflugerville warehouse during the week of April 5th.
On April 9th we called Customer Service on the status of the table and were told that the delivery would be sometime in May. At that time, we cancelled the order for the dining room table and chairs.
What happened to the table that we were told when purchasing was in the LivingSpaces warehouse in California? We were given the run around from the store manager and customer service. We loved the dining room set and chairs but we will never shop there again and will let our family, friends and neighbors about our experience.
Very disappointed in our experience with your store. You would receive from us 1 star.
